Our referral program is designed to reward you for helping grow the Affordable Housing Insiders community. This guide breaks down exactly how and when you'll get paid—and what steps you need to take to ensure your rewards are delivered.
💸 When Will I Get Paid? #
Referral commissions are paid quarterly (every 3 months) as long as you meet the minimum payout threshold of $25. If your referral earnings are below $25 in a quarter, they will roll over until you reach the threshold in a future quarter.
📆 How Long Does It Take to Qualify for a Payout? #
To qualify for payment, a referred business must:
- Remain active for at least 31 days
- Have a successful, non-refunded transaction
After this waiting period, your commission will be added to your referral balance and paid during the next scheduled payout cycle.
🏦 How Do I Receive My Payment? #
Payouts are processed through Stripe. You’ll be asked to securely connect your Stripe account in your referral dashboard once you’ve earned at least $25. This must be completed within 30 days of notification to avoid losing your earnings.
Stripe will attempt to send the payment one time. If your bank rejects the transfer or you incur fees, these may be deducted from your payout balance.
📌 Other Things to Know #
- Balances that remain under $25 for over 12 months may be forfeited
- You cannot refer yourself or your own organization
- Only valid business sign-ups count for referral commissions
